The name.

The name Ethirù comes from the story of how its founders, Tatiana and Elena, became friends.
A mutual friend often told them they had so much in common and were certain to get along. Yet, for a long time, their connection stayed online — until fate brought them together.

At the same time, though miles apart, they were both on a volunteer journey: Tatiana in Rwanda while Elena was in Ethiopia. They discovered each other’s heartfelt posts on social media — and something clicked. When they finally met in person, that instant connection turned into a lasting friendship.

A decade later, that same bond inspired them to create Ethirù — a name that carries their shared spirit of discovery, empathy, and connection.
